![]() I guarantee this little guy will do you well for decades to come. I went through 2 behringer Zenyx and 1 ProFx before feeling really stupid and finally settling on the ZED. This is a great sounding little mixer that is built like a tank. My recommendation would be the Allen & Heath ZED 10fx. Both would have enough i/o for my needs.I agree with those who question the reliability and sound quality of either Mackie mixer you mentioned. In the older one, I could hookup my RNC compressor in the insert for vocal comp.Ĭould save a lot by buying V2 right now, but wanted to see if anyone thought V3 was worth the extra money for the new model. So also 2 one-knob compressors in the newer model vs faders and a seperate monitor and FX send on the older one. ProFx8v2 at $140 or the ProFx10v3 at $230 I know V3 is only a couple of months old, but anyone have an opinion on this?
